Oral TraditionTale for a tale. Back to the fire Sign the map

Ask the Ferrywoman

The questions travellers ask before they board, answered in the order the crossing goes.

Must I sign the map first?

No. Say you are an adult, spin the compass and answer. As a guest your allowance is 10 messages, after which a signature keeps the tale from vanishing.

What happens when I choose Trade a tale?

The keeper's chat opens with the legend already told, so the conversation starts partway through. Your allowance is charged one message. The other button on her card starts her usual scene without the legend.

How do the roads differ?

Everyone who signs the map rides the open road for 3 days, with all sixteen keepers and no ceiling on lines. After that comes the short road: 10 lines a day, reset when UTC midnight strikes, and room for the keepers you spoke to first, up to 3. Plus brings the ceiling and the full atlas back. A month-long pass (30 days) is $15; the long pass (365 days) is $99. The toll always shows your balance.

How do I pay the toll?

Coins go over the TRON chain in USDT, using the TRC-20 standard. The page shows a receiving address and an exact sum. Once the coins arrive, around a minute, your days begin. Nothing recurs, and the traveller's terms cover the small print.

Will a keeper start the talk?

Only on the open road or Plus, and only if you have been silent a while. Set it however you like in your satchel.

What does she hold on to?

The tales you told, your tastes and the odd detail. Read her notes from the chat menu, change them or remove them. Anything typed in the About you box is known to every keeper before your first line.

Do I see her?

Yes. A portrait sits on every keeper's card, and a banner crowns the opening page. More may come, and new pins will announce it.

How do I go home?

Each chat has a clear option in its menu. To delete your whole account, write to the address at the foot of the page from the email you signed with.
